Some source changes:
Passive chat enabled.
You could chat also behind a NAT/Router (only whit user
that have a pubblic IP or that are inside your NAT/Router). Usefull for Italian
Fastweb users.
command /dcc pchat <user> added.
Use passive chat and send
by default.
Cheking the "Use passive chat and send" chek-box all
your chat and send will be passive (so an fserve will work behind a NAT/Router).
Obsidian 0.9.2-pre3 fserve tested (http://homepages.tu-darmstadt.de/~awerth/obsidian/
put it in ~/Library/Preferences/xchat2 folder).
Use active send with users behind
your NAT/Router.
Cheking the "Use active send whit users behind your NAT/Router"
chek-box while "Use passive chat and send" chek-box is cheked allow
you to connect directly with users in your local network area.

Self contained app. To install, drag the app to your HD.

folder ".xchat2" to folder "Library/Preferences/xchat2"

To import some old xchat preferences move it from ~/.xchat2 to Library/Preferences/xchat2.
To copy and paste use control-c and control-v instead of apple-c
and apple-v (because of X11 enviroment).

Compiled on a G4 1 GHz Panther inside. The sources are all freely downloadable
on line. The modified files shoud be in the same site where you find this app.
System requirements:
X-Chat 2.4.1 requires a PowerPC (G3 ?) G4 CPU and Mac OS X version 10.3 or later.
X11 e BSD subsystem installed.
